The last two weeks have been a like whirlwind for us not really knowing wheather we were coming or going at times. The leaves were at there peak, Santa came, college visits and applications, homecoming, football season ending and basketball season beginning and the election. Now as we are rushing around trying to get everything ready for people to see or pick up we find Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Time does fly this time of the year! As busy and hectic as it can be it is my favorite time of the year. So in all of that hectic activity we need to be sure and be thankful. We are thankful and in awe every year of the beauty of fall. Thankful for the excitement and joy of children when they visit with Santa with all of their wishes and dreams. We are thankful and glad to live in a country and state where our girls can get a college education and at an affordable price. This year we are proud to have another daughter selected to be on the homecoming court at Winder-Barrow High school. We are glad that the football season is over just as it is getting cold and thankful that our losing record finally ended! As football season ends we get to move inside and watch basketball in the warmth of a nice gym! And we are thankful to live in this great country where all of us are able to vote for our leaders. I have to also add that every year about this time I am thankful for eggnog, candy corn and fruitcake and coffee. We are also always thankful for all of our customers who we feel are more than just customers to us and our family, many times we feel like you are like our extended family and we thank you for your support.
Now a few more images from last week.
