After leaving Rutledge falls on Sunday morning Keith went to Mississippi and I started towards Lawrenceburg. Since I had till 4 in the afternoon to get there I made a stop in Lynchburg on the way for a tour. Several years ago on spring break we stopped in Lynchburg on the way to Nashville and loved it so I had to stop since I was driving through anyway. If you have never been to Lynchburg it is sort of like Mayberry on the old Andy Griffith show, but it has a pretty famous distillery. Everything in this area seems to be so much more relaxed than where we are. As you drive farther and farther away from the interstate you seem to relax more and more.

Jack Daniels has free tours every day and they last for about an hour and are a lot of fun, no samples and you can't buy any either. If you are going to be in the area this weekend they are having a BBQ cook-off with people from all over the world competing in it. Speaking of people from all over the world, you will see people from everywhere here on the tour! Looking around the parking lot as I was leaving I saw – Iowa, California, New York, Alabama, Texas, Georgia and many others. The last time we went we had some people from Germany and England in our tour group. None of this means much till you see just how out of the way this is, they had to make an effort to get here!

Later in the afternoon I arrived at my final destination of Lawrenceburg, TN, found my hotel and got ready for the 50's party that night. We all met in the lobby of the hotel and mingled getting to know each other and car pooled to Mt Pleasant to the restaurant. The rest of the trip I got to talk and share with some of the best photographers in the country and came back with some great ideas and new products that we will be offering in the near future, very near future.
