When we had the idea for the Bearded Man portrait project we didn’t know exactly what we would get to see or who we might meet, but we were excited to find out where it might lead us. We had so much fun during the first two sessions it is hard to imagine it getting any better, and now after doing five we haven’t been disappointed. Our third session was with Dave, preacher Dave, and he had an amazing story which you can read more about here. Dave was so much fun to talk to and get to know that our only problem was remembering that we needed to photograph him too. It seems that to know Dave is to love him and you can’t help but fall in love with a man with such an infectious personality and a wonderful story of faith. After spending an hour with him talking and photographing we got a good sense of what this man is about. Faith, family, work and fun. Amen.
