We just got back from ImagingUSA in Nashville and are trying to get back into the swing of things in the real world. The convention is always packed full of programs and a huge tradeshow so when it is over you have to get a little rest so you can figure out which way is up! We ran from 7 in the morning to 10 at night every night and it took its toll on us. Even with all of the programs and tradeshow, I think the highlight of the trip for us was Monday night when we went to Third and Lindsley to see The Time Jumpers and Vince Gill. I am so glad we chose to stay closer into town and not at the Gaylord where you never get out to do anything. Between seeing the sights and music of Nashville and all of the knowledge we gained in our programs I think ImagingUSA 2020 was a success for us.
What is ImagingUSA? It’s the longest-running photographic conference, tradeshow, and exhibit in the USA, drawing 10,000 working photographers each year. Dating back to 1880, the event is always growing and evolving to help photographers become better artists, grow as entrepreneurs, and be inspired to do and be more.
Imaging USA is hosted by Professional Photographers of America (PPA) – the largest international nonprofit association serving working photographers. Almost as long-lived as photography itself, PPA gives 30,000+ pros protection, resources, and education to help elevate their art and their business, while teaching them how to close the gap between what they do and what consumers want.
